The Christian life is very difficult

If marriage is so important to God, why does He deny it for so many of us? Especially those of us who are not called to singleness either in nature of the dreams/desires God puts on our hearts.

I've seen this at work in my own life as well as others, both the good and bad side of it. We are to protect our marriages not invite the enemy in so be careful what you say and who you say it to. Check your heart and the motivation you have in sharing something before you speak it. If it doesn't serve a Godly or righteous purpose and it's just to vent or make the other person look bad then work with the Holy Spirit to hold your tongue otherwise you will likely get burned sooner than later by your own words. Proverbs 18:21: "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit." Meaning you reap what you sow, so choose to speak life not death.

It was easier to be a Christian in the 70s. We had to deal mainly with sinners and preach the Gospel. Now we have dozens of people trying to sell books, profit with faith and making Christian life more difficult and miserable that really is. There are so many "how to" that makes me vomit, just like Jesus and the Laodicea church. The biggest trap is that pastors and ministries made church a business and are just thinking about profiting.
